A Nuclear Science Merit Badge Workshop will be held on Saturday, February 28, at the Physics Department at Creighton University. Scouts can complete the merit badge at the workshop. There is no charge. (This workshop is supported by the Creighton Physics Department, the Contemporary Physics Education Project and the US Department of Energy’s Office of Science.) Requirements 1, 2, 3, 4, 5c, 5g, 5j, 6c, and 7 will be covered. Background material for the workshop can be found at http://physicsweb.creighton.edu/rhic/content/nuclear-science-merit-badge.

The workshop will start in room G59 of the Hixson-Lied Building. Scouts should arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 am. Maps can be found at http://www.creighton.edu/maps/. Parking is available in the student lot located across Burt Street from the Hixson-Lied Building. A pizza lunch will be provided. Scouts should be finished by about 1:00 pm.
