Changes to Dual Degree Engineering program with Washinton University in St. Louis

In about 2015, Wash U added a 3-3 option to their Dual Degree engineering program. The 3-3 option, which admitted students to both Wash U engineering undergraduate degree programs and master's degree programs, was offered in addition to the existing 3-2 option, which admitted students to only Wash U engineering undergraduate degree programs. The 3-3 option has proven to be very popular, with approximately 70% of incoming Dual Degree students selecting the 3-3 option since it was implemented. Wash U has now decided to streamline their offerings, and offer only the 3-3 option for students entering the program starting Fall 2026. In addition to being more popular, the 3-3 option guarantees a 50% tuition discount for all three years directly from the McKelvey School of Engineering to all admitted students, including international students.
